Description
The JET EOHV is the high-velocity model in the JET air curtain range. It throws a 12–14 m/s stream of air across the doorway, forming a uniform, noiseless and invisible barrier that keeps conditioned air in and heat, dust, insects, smoke and odour out — while men and material keep moving through the opening.
EOHV is specified for pharmaceutical units, food processing, cleanrooms, textile plants, supermarkets, cold store anterooms and general industry, on door heights up to 9 ft. This is the mild steel version: 16, 18 or 20 gauge MS/GI casing, powder coated for corrosion resistance.
Why the EOHV holds the door
- Motor — 1440 RPM continuous-rating motor with Class B insulation and moisture-resistant coating, on ball bearings. Not a repurposed air-conditioning motor.
- Blower — one-piece blower with a 7" statically and dynamically balanced forward-curved impeller, for high velocity at low sound levels and low power draw.
- Body — thicker gauge fabricated casing for zero vibration and turbulence.
- Suction grills — high-impact plastic, designed for maximum air suction, not wood or metal castings.
- Alignment — shaft alignment is held for the life of the machine, so the unit does not start vibrating a year in.
- Finish — polyurethane or powder-coated surface for long life and corrosion resistance.

Sizing and installation
Available in 3 ft, 1 m, 4 ft, 5 ft and 6 ft. For openings wider than 6 ft, place units side by side to form one continuous curtain. Tailor-made and odd sizes are made to order.
The curtain should cover the full doorway with about 100 mm overlap on each side, and is mounted as close as possible to the top edge of the door, on the inside of the premises. It hangs on the installation bracket supplied as standard; ceiling-mounted versions are available. Keep a minimum 50 mm between the unit and the ceiling, and 200 mm clear of any obstruction.
