Description
The JET FLP is the JET air curtain built for doorways where a standard motor is not permitted. It carries a flameproof motor in place of the standard continuous-rating motor, in a stainless steel body, for hazardous-area openings in chemical plants, solvent and paint shops, and classified zones inside pharmaceutical and process plants.
Everything else that makes a JET curtain work is unchanged: a one-piece blower with a statically and dynamically balanced forward-curved impeller, thicker-gauge fabricated casing for zero vibration, louvres that direct the stream across the full opening, and special end bearings that need no routine maintenance.

The flameproof motor rating is selected against your site's area classification. Build
- Flameproof motor selected to the site's area classification.

Sizing and installation
Available in 3 ft, 1 m, 4 ft, 5 ft and 6 ft; units are placed side by side for wider openings. Mounted as close as possible to the top of the door on the inside, with about 100 mm overlap on each side of the opening. Keep a minimum 50 mm from the ceiling and 200 mm clear of obstructions.
